Workshop Proposals

The Black Urban Growers (BUGs) conference is excited to accept presentation and workshop proposals for our 2023 Black Farmers & Urban Gardeners Conference!  This is our 11th Annual Black Farmers & Urban Gardeners National Conference. Please check back SPRING 2023 for an announcement of our proposal dates.

Since 2010 we’ve been creating a space for urban and rural farmers, food justice activists, chefs, educators, policymakers, and everyday citizens to come together and share innovative ideas, projects, and best practices for reclaiming and reshaping our food system.

Vending & Volunteer Opportunities

Calling all farmers, gardeners, herbalists, food entrepreneurs, chefs, foodies, afro-ecologists, food activists, educators, afro-futurists, policy-makers, nutritionists & more! Are you interested in facilitating our conference? We expect more than 400 attendees at the 2023 Black Farmers and Urban Gardeners National Conference (BUGs) in Philadelphia, PA. Registration is slated to open in SPRING 2023.
